"A Friend is one who walks in when the whole world walks out." Friendships are important. The Bible speaks much about friendships. In fact, Jesus is the greatest example of a friend. He's the Friend closer than a brother. He's the One Who would lay down His life for His friends. The best thing we can do for our friends is to tell them about the greatest Friend, that is Jesus.
